MRCA/SMMC Parks Series
Michael D. Antonovich Regional Park at Joughin Ranch
Following the devastating Woolsey Fire, MRCA hired AIR to capture drone footage of nature's regrowth and the lush 2019’s Springtime beauty of their parks, with particular attention to locations available for filming including Michael D. Antonovich Regional Park at Joughin Ranch.
Location scouts are drawn to this park’s winding roads & rolling hills covered with dramatic oak trees and even grazing cattle. Less than 35 miles from DTLA, hikers, mtn bikes & equestrians head to this 2,326 acre park to escape city life. This protected open space is home to raptors -- the golden eagle, great horned owl, red-tailed & Copper’s hawks and many threatened plant species.
